Having a couple of MNC offers and being the lucky few in the weak economy you have a choice to make. A choice which would define how your career shapes out to be in the future. You have a job from a well-established company or from a startup which is just making a name in the industry. The predilection towards a corporate job with a placid life style seems the correct choice or MAY BE NOT?

Here are a few reasons why you should quit your job and join a startup instead:

Grow faster:

Working with a small team will help you to make your presence felt faster and growing up the ladder would become easy. However in the start the work might seem limited (lesser pay) but as the company grows more work and better pay would be offered.

More Experience:

Bigger companies seem to keep rotating its employees to get them accustomed to the entire whereabouts of the company and help them settle in their field of expertise  or maybe in the place where the company lacks man power whereas Startups don’t have the funds to mother you through the training which is no bad as working in startups is often considered to be as dog years as 1 year of working in a startup gets you the same amount of experience, variety of work and skill set as working for 7 years in big companies.

Be the part of the next big thing:

You might never know, but you might be working with the next Zuckerberg. Almost all founders are envisioning an exit like WhatsApp and Myntra making all those emails and deadlines worthwhile. However working with a founder around you can be benign in shaping your career and help you while setting up your own enterprise.

Work Environment:

Opening beer on special occasion (Wink) might seem a big no at huge corporate offices but for startups every small achievement is a special occasion. Wear what you like is what most of the startup follow, so even an old t shirt works well.  

More Responsibility and Exposure:

A startup usually surfers a shortage of fund despite of having happy investors or a founder with rich aunt. So responsibility on every person working is more and mostly no two person specialize in the same work. The exposure to different aspect of business and development of skill sets will out run the pay offered by a bigger companies.

Always Learning

People who strive to make something on their own have a different set of mind which enables them to approach a problem in a different way. However working with them would enable you to approach a problem in a lot of different ways making you land closest to the solution. The spirit of entrepreneur is infectious, being with one would eventually let you plan your own.

But pursuing a startup depends also on the tolerance of risk you have. But taking a risk once in a while never killed nobody.

Social media is one of the fastest growing industries sprouting into new dimensions. With time companies have realized the need of having an online presence to strengthen the relation with their customers. Its has moved from 'should have' to 'must have' with companies making social media strategies for almost every new development in the company. Most companies have shifted there focus to Google+ as having a profile with Google's Social networking platform doesn't only give them a huge access to the crowd but also gives them a better ranking on the google page often referred to as S.E.O (Search Engine Optimization).

With post promotion options in facebook, Google+, Twitter and You tube companies have found a very useful tool to cater to there target audience. These social platforms also provide companies with re advertising methodologies which might be tiresome for the users but its a boon in disguise for the companies. In re advertising the user is shown posts/videos of the contents recently searched, for example if you search for a flight ticket to Delhi on any of the ticket booking websites your facebook profile will have a similar posts popping up claiming to have the cheapest tickets to Delhi.

Social Media presence also help companies to build their brand image and strike a chord with their prospective clients. With facebook changing its algorithm from EdgeRank (Depending on recent posts) to Story Bumping making it easier for companies to reach out to its target audience social media is indeed here to stay.

Sophisticated Spy

People in the present world have concocted a fake world where they interact with unknown people and create a caricature of others in their mind.Its often called as Social Networking Sites. The myth which they live in makes them less confident and sometimes leads to depression as well. Though its easy to stay connected with people all over the world but you will have to pay the price for that. The consequences wont be easily visible but it indeed would have a longing effect in your life.

The usage of social networking sites is at its all time high. Everything has changed according to that. The fake portrayal of ones life has made people less practical and more prone to nervous break downs. Meaning of photography has changed all of a sudden. We don't click them for memories anymore but for our display pictures or cover photos.It is a web which has almost trapped everyone of us.

Few see it as a platform to socialize but i see it as the most sophisticated spying machine. And as a matter of fact it has been used in recent times for the same. With the Police across the world making its presence felt on the sites its high time that we realize that our life is not personal anymore. We have invited unwanted people to be a part of our privacy. It hasn't taken us close to our friends but has erased the line between personal and professional life. We tend to make our mood public to people by saying " What's in our mind ". We tend to let people know about each and everything we do from a family dinner to relationship problems.

Social Networking Sites have become an integral part of our life and we indeed have fallen prey to a spying agent. Though a lot of us won't agree to this fact but the scenario is such that once you register you can't delete your account. Even when you are no more they just freeze your account and all your pictures and documents are still in the companies data base. Its not only about the personal information shared over a wide range of audience but also about the insecurities which creeps in our minds after a high usage of these sites.

We often use this medium for searching people and connecting with them. But most of the time things as perceived aren't true. You see a display picture and you tend to like a person but in reality the person's looks are juxtaposed. So its always advisable not to go on the persons display picture.

Through this article, i just wanted everyone to know about the trap which we have fallen pray to.

A Letter

Hello people

Through this letter i want to take you through a journey of how i became a entrepreneur. It was hard in the starting, chances looked bleak every person had something to criticize me for but at last i did what i wanted to.. Few people did call me a wannabe entrepreneur but that just helped me to evolve as though wannabe but they thought of me as an entrepreneur.. Thing started during the early days of my college cause this was something given to me by my forefathers. It was difficult not to ape them and do something which is not in my blood..

Having a family of entrepreneurs, i certainly had that business instinct in me.I was also inclined towards my family tradition as i wanted to grow up like my father ( which everyone of you would like to be) . The things i saw throughout my childhood got embedded into my characteristics and i had a different analytically theories all together. Though my theories where difficult to understand by many but i still believed them to be correct. When most of my colleagues were busy doing what every other person did i was busy in planning something big.

Though it wasn't easy as i was often demotivated by my colleagues and was brain washed regarding my goals in life. But i kept my cool and worked towards my goals. In today's world where competition is cut throat i either had to come up with an idea which was out of the box or exceptional working style. Cause it was not about how good i was but it was all about how good i can make the service or product look.Though following your families tradition can be tiresome sometimes as expectations from you are exponentially increasing.

Actually its no rocket science... You only need to have a never ending faith in whatever you do and of course the risk taking abilities. Though the risk taking ability comes from within and it can't be inculcated at any stage of your life. You tend to get a lot of exposure because of your family being involved but as the generations change the working style should modify and change accordingly.

Though when i look back i see a lot of struggle and disheartening on my way to the top but it looks worthwhile all the efforts which i did to get to this position.

Is It Punjab Or Punjabis

PUNJAB ... hearing this word would get a lot of things going in your mind . But it would majorly remind you of two things : Giant sardars or rajma chawal....Rajma chawal being the delicacy of almost every state in the northern part of the country is associated with Punjab...But this place has got a lot more things enstored... Living crucial years of my life in states nearing Punjab, i know it for a fact that it has a lot more to offer...

The state is rich in all the essential commodities for sustaining life such as hot girls, alcohol and of course other things caused due to revolutions... I have always wondered that is it Punjab or the Punjabis... Because you tend to be inclined towards this place... i myself am ... If ever you have been here you wont like any other place in the country... Though people of Punjab are still stuck with stereotype thinking but they are known to have a big heart... 

Every person here would remember your mom and your sister before remembering you... This state is the only state where after eight at night every person would start speaking English.... You can't blame them as everything after eight is taken care by the monks... Patiala - A city of Punjab, but this name is usually used to describe a lot of other things...

An amazing thing about this state is that every second family has their son settled in Canada often pronounced as Kneda and  their repatriation to our country is impossible... Kneda (Canada ) is filled with Punjabis and its also called Mini Punjab..

Pronunciations all of a sudden change here as Bullet become Bult... Canada become kneda..... Satra becomes satara... and having i don't give a fuck attitude they are hardly bothered to correct it... And when you ask a punjabi about saying it correctly he would say that it doesn't give them that feel...

There are numerous things to talk about Punjab such as The Punjabi Dance, amazing Cuisine, The Golden Temple and a lot more....

Being inclined towards the beautiful girls of this place and the fact that i have lived the best years of my life here make me write this... Even after being in this magical state for years still it is difficult to decide whether it is Punjab or Punjabis for the addicting this state has....

Can Love Happen Twice

Going weak on your knees... Falling for someone at the first sight... Trying to find love rather than letting it find you.... Is it love or its just a personification of human's desperation towards the opposite sex....In the fast paced life, we tend to move on very fast from our past relations.. But there will be a person whom you get stuck to in life... 

After a certain point of time in a relationship you tend to compare your partner with the person whom you are stuck to in life.. Its goes unnoticed in few relationships but in few it is evidently visible...You never tend to justify with your current partner as you always have someone else in your mind...Mostly the one whom you get stuck to in life is either your first love or your childhood love.. It all starts when your mind is not matured enough to understand the complexities of life and you fall in love without considering the physical assets of the person...Its happens only once and you tend to be in its hangover for the rest of your life.

You might have moved on in life but the person you are stuck to in life will keep coming back to you... There will be times when you just think of giving up on things related to that person but all your efforts will go in vain.

Because of our egos and false assumptions of happiness in life we tend to ignore this feeling...With the changing thought process of people and with faster lifestyle they tend to fall in love again and again but do they really move on from their first love? or they are just under the false impression of being in Love...

A lot of people would disagree with the theory of love happening once and would revert to there past relationships as a mistake... They might have had a bad relationship or they might have ended on a wrong note but first love always is more special and it tends to be with us throughout our life...

Love's meaning might have changed over the years but the feeling of first love will still be deep trodden into our hearts..... Its just a matter of time, when we leave our egos and try to have a reality check...

Parenting Is Not Easy

Sometimes your biggest strength becomes your weakness... It might have happened to all of us while leaving our parents.... That decision was indeed a tough one as we had to leave our home for a better future and face the cruel world... Being under the cover of parents through out the life, it was imperative to go out in the world and explore new possibilities... It was manifest how desperately we wanted to stay with them...but we had toThe feeling wasn't same for everybody as some wanted to leave their parents and lead a independent life as they thought parents made an unnecessary indulgence in their life... Though i was incredulous of this fact in the beginning but later on i had to believe that some just didn't understand the value of their parents.. Few just consider them to be ATMs...
Considering the fact that they put in that extra effort so that their children can always wear a smile... It is regretful how they are not valued.... Though sometimes parents also do not understand certain things..... but that is only out of the sheer love that they become over protective...Its actually the difference of view not the conflict of interests..Parents just want to exquisitely carve the path of our lives...

A feeling of parents being a disgrace to their image has also sunk amongst a lot of people, they think their parents cannot match up to the modern ways of living... The fail to understand that it is only because of their parents that they have achieved those modernized way of living... But is this the age which gets in the feelings of rebel  or its just in once nature.... According to me, its the age as the thought process is not matured enough to understand life and the long term disasters cause by the immature thinking.
This piece of writing is dedicated to all the parents who work day in day out to support their children and provide them with all their wants in life. It is a homage to all those loving mothers and caring fathers... Ending this article with the hope that every child parent relationship will be invigorated
