Is it love or its just a personification of human's desperation towards the opposite sex....In the fast paced life, we tend to move on very fast from our past relations.. But there will be a person whom you get stuck to in life...
After a certain point of time in a relationship you tend to compare your partner with the person whom you are stuck to in life.. Its goes unnoticed in few relationships but in few it is evidently visible...You never tend to justify with your current partner as you always have someone else in your mind...Mostly the one whom you get stuck to in life is either your first love or your childhood love.. It all starts when your mind is not matured enough to understand the complexities of life and you fall in love without considering the physical assets of the person...Its happens only once and you tend to be in its hangover for the rest of your life.
You might have moved on in life but the person you are stuck to in life will keep coming back to you... There will be times when you just think of giving up on things related to that person but all your efforts will go in vain.
Because of our egos and false assumptions of happiness in life we tend to ignore this feeling...With the changing thought process of people and with faster lifestyle they tend to fall in love again and again but do they really move on from their first love? or they are just under the false impression of being in Love...
A lot of people would disagree with the theory of love happening once and would revert to there past relationships as a mistake... They might have had a bad relationship or they might have ended on a wrong note but first love always is more special and it tends to be with us throughout our life...
Love's meaning might have changed over the years but the feeling of first love will still be deep trodden into our hearts..... Its just a matter of time, when we leave our egos and try to have a reality check...

Yes, first love is always more special and tends to be with us throughout our life, but when you say we stay in the hangover for the rest of our life, well, not true always. When you get in to more relationships, and break up more often, you realize that it makes no sense to get in a relation, and that the first one was perfect. But as the cycle continues, you get to know that nothing was perfect, you are still in hangover because it wast the FIRST one. And the moment you realize this, trust me, my friend, you get out of the hangover. Every other breakup after your first relation provides a punch of lime for the hangover. And ultimately, it does go off :)
